Trump, The Truth & Why He's Loved

While Donald Trump builds a base of people sick of the pablum -- which candidates have fed voters forever -- his supporters inaccurately proclaim "WE LIKE HIM BECAUSE HE SPEAKS THE TRUTH!"

From comments about Mexican rapists to John McCain, no one seriously thinks that all he speaks is THE TRUTH. However, his supporters can sincerely embrace the fact that Trump speaks his MIND. The reason people love him enough to disregard the letter of the truth, for his unfiltered style, is that they are sick and tired of politicians taking polls and regurgitating what the "public tea leaves" tell them to say.

The only poll that matters to Trump is the one that goes off in his head about himself. Therefore, we NEVER have to worry about losing what we love about him. His perception of himself will always trump any poll he might be exposed to. So here's to Trump speaking his mind, so long as what flows from his mind to his mouth, doesn't have my name, in the subject line.
